I never much cared
for your long legs
& slow stare
your frozen veins &
icicle undertones
I’m moving on to
February,
marching on to Spring
Shivering space;
eclipsing
a cold sun

warmth
in still photos
Secluded
Walled away, my will
to climb high sky and sink teeth

Drawing a shit hand
from the discord pile
Misunderstand
me
sometimes
I do not
know myself
Ignoring
the
blinding
glimmer in
her eyes
Unable to speak
of
this lyrical
canker
on my tongue
I’m feeling small
imagining myself
being buried by
crashing waves
it’s exhilarating
existing in that space
between horizons
Stabbing at my demons…
she wakes me
from my nightmare
Remembered
& forgotten
like a roadside
bouquet
