To Change a Broken Clock

Wanting
change but doing
nothing to attain it
mouth full of teeth with cavities
— no bite

Decry
change yet complain
every day is the same
mind full of broken clock hands keep
no time

  1. Wow. Very harsh words, good poem. Change can be slow, unseen, even if time ticks away. Then one day the bite is so large it’s all consuming.Something will get inside that mind full of broken clock hands and fix it.
